My MLP Next Gen- Arcane Lore

And just after I wanted to put non-pony content on my account, here comes another MLP pic. XD
Anyway, I've been talking all over the place about my own ideas for this, so its time to put some up or shut up.
One thing before the bio (however much I decide to put up, that is. lol) is that I'm likely not to draw him this... tall again. He is supposed to be normal stallion height, maybe even shorter; why did I do this??? XD Anyway...

Name: Prince Arcane Lore
Gender: Male
Parents: Princess Twilight Sparkle, Captain Flash Sentry
Age: 16
Personality: Highly ordered but forgetful, kind but blunt, often rushes into plans without thinking of the consequences
Bio: Being the firstborn prince and heir of the Princess of Friendship, he has dedicated himself much to his royal role and would in-fact love to spend all of his days inside studying his royal duties and the magic his mother is well-known for. However, his mother being the Princess of Friendship, this wasn't going to go over well with her, and when he was sixteen she banished him from the castle for a day for him to go out and make friends, much like Princess Celestia sent her away to do many years ago. However reluctant he may have been to accomplish this, he did eventually give in when the atmosphere of Ponyville swept him under its sway and met his new best friends, of course after apologizing for not realizing that he'd actually worked with them before... eheheh.
    What that previous statement refers to is the Youth Council of Friendship, a group he started with his best friend after seeing the good that his mother and her friends do everyday for Equestria, as he too wanted to show that anypony can contribute. The Youth Council eventually came to be made up of many of the children of the Bearers of Harmony, with Arc (as his friends came to call him) at its head next to his 'best friend' (just putting it that way because he's coming up next, and may be a bit of a shock! lol). Though they aren't lead by the powers of Harmony, unlike their mothers, the Youth Council does whatever it can to help around Ponyville and wherever they end up.
    He often finds himself engrossed in reading and rereading the library's treasure trove of books, mainly the ones on magic, as he wants to learn all he can on the subject, like his mother who, as one can figure out by now, is one of his role models on the subject. His studies have gotten him into a lot of trouble, like a good little magic student, and he has caused many incidents whilst trying out spells far too advanced for him. However, his Cutie Mark came in when he realized that just by reading or seeing any spell, he was able to replicate it at once, not always perfectly but still regardless of skill level. However, luckily and occasionally unluckily, he has a pretty terrible memory, and so must continuously study the same books over and over again to get the spells he needs to work right. This, predictably, has led to the recurrence of many disasters over and over again, as he hardly ever learns from these disastrous mistakes. It's why he needed an assistant, and so one was brought in instantly to curb his trouble streak and to keep his reckless studies in line.

Well, there's just so much more to say about him, but I thought a simpler bio would be good first. After all, I haven't even talked much about his personal assistant, or the little incident that he accidentally caused when he came back to Princess Twilight's castle (has to do with intruders, I'll say that). My Next Gen story has a lot to tell, and I don't have enough room (or attention span) for just one of these submissions. lol
